Joe's Plumbing & Rooter

Joe, Just replaced our electric hot water heater which was in bad shape. Joe was on time, very easy to communicate with, great clean job and reasonably priced.

I would respectfully stay away from this company. I called them for a plumbing service appointment and the tech never showed up during the scheduling timeframe and no one called me. I had to call them and they told me they are extremely busy and could not get out for the service appointment until later on in the week. Truly unacceptable. Also, the scheduler gave some promotion that turned into some yearly subscription that was not properly expressed during the inital call. It was a separate company called “premium home service” that I’m now trying to get my money back.

Joe is not a good person. I called him because my kitchen faucet and washer were backing up. He went on my roof with his snake, which-come to find out was a snake a homeowner would use. He did not unplug my drain and left his snake stuck and tangled in my drain. Joe did not attempt to find the real problem because he had another customer waiting, but still charged me $160 for his time. Luckily, my husband found the drain that needed to be cleaned out. I had to have another plumbing company come out to attempt remove snake, which was not entirely removed because of how it is tangled. We were charged over $600 for their time. They also had to cut drywall behind my washer to locate snake. My husband and I are out over $800 for something Joe did and never helped pay for. Oh, and part of a snake still in our drain.

Called Joe first thing in the morning and he said he would try to fit me in as he was very busy. He came by at 11:30 to look at job and said it would be a tough one as the previous plumber did not do it right. Joe said he would be back in an hour with the supplied. He was back in an hour with a new water heater and said it would take about 3 hrs with all the new piping that had to be done. I know it was a tough job as I could hear him grumble in the garage and of course the storm didn't help. He was done in the 3 hrs he quoted and was very reasonable priced. Thank you Joe!!

Unable to get to us Tuesday night, Joe asked us to text our emergency. He text back confirming our problem was NOT an emergency. That if we have someone come out after hours, it would be a fortune. He said he could come by Wednesday morning between 9and 10am. He text this morning to confirm and took real good care of us. Professional and knowledgeable. Fair man great service and fair price. Hes now "our plumber ". Give him a call...thanks Joe! Don and Jennifer

Anyone who knows me, and can see my review records and recommendations, knows that i usual write to encourage people to do business locally. I called him being referred by a neighbor, (whom he didn't remember and told me, he doesn't remember anyone from last week) after 5 minutes of conversation of the services i needed, Joe was awful, almost sarcastic, declined to even take a look of 2 situations I mentioned, I am not sure if my Spanish accent was the problem, or he simply did not care to help ( pretty common dealing with people that discriminates me). After listening his rejections, and lack of professionalism I asked: Are we having a good conversation here? and he immediately say no, cut me off and tried to send me to someone else. Good Luck Mr Joe, I am glad you removed yourself from my path, God has a better person for me to work with.

I've been a customer of Joe's plumbing services for around 6 years now, the first time he installed a new hot water heater, and since then I've had him come out to fix several things over time, shower valves, toilet shut-off valves, and clear tub drains, etc. Always pleasant to work with and his prices seem fairly reasonable compared to the large plumbing companies.
